Give access to one project
- Open Project settings → Project access. Enter the person’s email and choose a role.
- Create the invitation and share the returned link yourself. Creating a link does not send an email. It expires after seven days and can be accepted once.
- The recipient signs in with that email address, verifies it and accepts the invitation. Reopen the link after verification if needed.
- Editors save approved draft content. Publishers can also publish. Administrators manage configuration and access.
- An invitation grants access only to that project, not to the organisation’s other projects.
- Administrators choose which sections, collections and fields customers can edit. Customer view previews the simpler interface; it does not grant extra permissions.
Transfer ownership
- The current organisation owner opens Project settings → Ownership and creates a transfer link for the recipient’s email.
- Share the link yourself. Ownership stays unchanged until acceptance; a pending transfer can be cancelled.
- The verified recipient chooses an organisation, reviews collaborators to retain and whether the sender should keep administrator access, then accepts ownership.
Only this project moves. Content, history and its published address remain intact. The old organisation loses implicit access; previous invitations and developer/preview tokens stop working. Ownership transfer does not change the current payer, set up hosting payments or transfer a registrar account.
