Select what you want to change
- Open a project, choose a page and select a section in the canvas or section list.
- Select a named part such as Heading, Image or Action. Content changes its words, image or destination. Layout controls its size and position. Appearance controls colour, typography and interaction states.
- Select the section itself to edit the whole section. Use the part selector when a small target is difficult to reach.
Selecting text opens editing fields; it does not put a text cursor directly into the website. A locked section or field requires the appropriate project access.
Select a card’s heading, photograph, review text or action to edit that item’s Content. The selected item’s name appears above its fields; All items returns to the full list. A connected item edits its underlying collection entry wherever that entry is used. Appearance and Layout affect matching parts across all items, not just the selected row. For a list managed in Shared, choose Manage content to edit its shared source.
Add and arrange sections
- Choose Add section or an insertion control between sections, then choose a component from the Library. The insertion marker shows its position.
- Use section actions to move, duplicate or delete it. Review the deletion before confirming.
- In a two-column layout, select a child section to edit it or move it between columns. Each column supports up to six sections; columns cannot contain another two-column layout.
- Use Undo and Redo for recent changes. Check the save status before leaving.
Check appearance
Use desktop, tablet and mobile preview sizes. Normal, Hover and Active let you edit an element’s interaction styles. Hover also applies on keyboard focus. Reset state clears that state’s overrides.
In Section settings, choose a Light, Dark or Brand colour scheme to coordinate the section’s background, text, links and buttons. Automatic keeps its existing design variant. Settings → Design lets you edit the three shared schemes. Colour pickers show Aa previews for paired background and text colours, followed by brand swatches and Custom colour. Automatic removes an individual colour override; explicit Normal, Hover and Active colours take precedence over a scheme. Low contrast warnings do not prevent saving. Inherited typography and decoration show their current values. Use inherited font, weight or decoration removes that override; Reset state clears the selected state’s overrides.
Hover a font-weight option or move through it with the keyboard to preview it on the canvas. Choose an option to save it. Leaving the menu or pressing Escape restores the saved appearance.
Known fonts offer their supported weights. A saved weight labelled (fallback) is preserved; choose a supported weight for a distinct face. Changing fonts keeps the existing weight. Under Brand name and Subtitle, each line has its own Font and Weight controls.
For navigation parts, choose Underline in Text decoration to reveal Underline effect: Static, Fade, Slide from left, Slide from right or Grow from centre. Underline colour is independent of the text colour; Duration (ms) controls moving effects. Preview Hover and Active, then test real pointer and keyboard interactions. Reduced-motion preferences remove the animation.
For a Simple navigation logo, select Image → Layout, or Brand → Appearance → Normal → Wordmark and logo. Set Shape to Circle to reveal Image zoom (%). Zoom starts at 100%; Stacked wordmark keeps your chosen zoom. Adjust the name and subtitle fonts, weights and line heights separately.
Settings contains website design tokens. Section and element appearance can override them. Editing a shared header or footer affects every page using that layout.
