Edit entries
- Open Content, choose a collection and select an entry. Use its named fields and tabs.
- Choose Add entry for a new item. Complete required fields, then select Create entry. Until then, the new entry stays in the form.
- Existing entry edits save to the draft. Preview the pages that use the collection before publishing.
Presets include Articles, Services, Products, Events, Team and Locations. They provide appropriate fields; they do not connect a checkout, booking service or calendar automatically. A relationship field chooses another collection entry.
Customers see only approved collections and fields. Locked fields may also prevent adding or deleting entries. Ask the project administrator to change access when needed.
For a batch, choose Import CSV… and Download template, then fill the field-key columns and export UTF-8 CSV. Choose CSV to review the first ten rows and total count before importing. Correct every reported error and choose the file again. Import adds new entries; it does not update or deduplicate existing ones. Cancel leaves the draft unchanged, and Undo can reverse the latest imported batch. Imports accept up to 500 entries and 1 MB; rich text, structured JSON and relationships are not supported yet.
Use content on a page
- In Studio, select a section with repeated items. Open Connect content, or Content settings if it is already connected, then use Use content to choose a collection instead of Section items.
- Open Fields to map the section’s named values to compatible collection fields. Use All entries for a growing list, or Choose entries for a curated selection. Limit caps the displayed count.
- To reuse existing section items in the CMS, choose Create collection and Create and connect. This copies the items and connects the section to the new collection.
An empty connected collection displays no entries; it does not restore examples. Disconnect an entry from explicit page bindings or relationships before deleting it.
Give entries their own pages
A collection with an Entry page design gives new entries addresses from its path and their entry slugs. New journal templates include an article design. Preview entry opens the result. An existing static page at the same address takes precedence.
Administrators configure Entry page in Content. Collections without a design do not automatically create pages. An explicit entry link can still direct a card elsewhere.
For Articles, Details contains Author and Article date. In Search, optional Search title and Search description override the individual article’s search metadata. Leave them blank to use its Title and Summary.
