Invite an editor
Use Project settings → Project access to give another person access to Meadow & Moss. Enter their email address and choose a role. Editor is a sensible starting point for someone updating approved content; Publisher can also publish, and Administrator can manage the project's configuration and access. Choose the smallest role that fits the job.
Choose Create invitation, then Copy and send the link yourself. The recipient signs in with the invited email address and verifies it before accepting. For a practice handover, use another account you control or a colleague who has agreed to help.
Ask the editor to open Journal, change an article's Summary and review its Preview. This gives them a concrete first task in the CMS. Check that they can reach the content they need without having to arrange the website's design. An invitation applies to this project; it does not invite them into every website owned by your organisation.
Editing access, ownership and payment are separate decisions. An invited editor does not become the payer. A payer who only accepted billing responsibility does not become an editor. You can keep ownership while a customer edits and pays, or transfer the whole project when that is the agreed handover.
Transfer ownership when agreed
To transfer ownership, the organisation owner opens Project settings → Ownership. Enter Recipient email and choose Create transfer link. Select Ask to keep my access only if you want the recipient to consider retaining your access. Copy the link and send it to the intended recipient.
The recipient chooses their Organisation, reviews Keep project access, and decides which people should remain. They confirm I accept ownership of Meadow & Moss and choose Accept ownership. Read this screen together if you are practising: the previous organisation's access ends when the transfer is accepted, unless the recipient explicitly keeps relevant project access.
Afterwards, sign in as the recipient and open the project. Check its pages, Journal entries and current website address. Confirm the intended editor can still work and that any retained agency access is deliberate. Ownership transfer keeps the existing hosting payer. Choose the intended payer before starting payment setup; replacing them later is not available yet.
