Reuse information
- Open Shared for sets such as contact details, address, opening hours, social links or an announcement.
- In Studio, connect a compatible section field to the shared value. Update the set to change every connected placement.
- Preview affected pages. Clearing a shared value also clears connected placements.
An administrator controls which sets and fields customers can edit. Public contact details do not automatically reconfigure an external form or email provider.
Reuse an entire section
- Select a section in Studio, open Section settings and choose Make synced section. Name it, then insert it elsewhere from Synced sections.
- Edit the canonical section through Shared to update its connected instances.
- Detach an instance when it should become independent. The detached copy no longer updates the shared source.
Synced sections share content and design. Shared field values reuse individual pieces of information. Shared headers and footers are separate page-layout slots.
