Choose who pays
The builder account and website hosting are separate. Meadow & Moss needs its own hosting subscription when it is ready to go public. Open Project settings → Website address. If no Mallowmint address is shown, choose its name beside the fixed domain suffix and select Add before checkout. If domain connections are not configured, contact Mallowmint before paying. Then open Hosting and decide who should pay.
If you will pay, select the checkbox confirming you will pay for this website's hosting, then choose Pay for hosting. Read the current plan, currency and price before continuing. You can stop before completing checkout if you are only practising. A Sandbox banner identifies a test environment; use a real payment only when you intend to buy hosting.
If a customer will pay, use Assign a payer instead. Enter their Email address, choose Create payer link, then Copy and send the link yourself. Creating the link does not email it or charge the recipient.
The recipient signs in with that email address, verifies it if needed, reviews the responsibility statement and chooses Accept billing responsibility. They can then use Set up hosting. This gives them billing responsibility for Meadow & Moss; it does not give them access to edit the website or to any other agency project.
After checkout, wait while the page shows Processing payment. Look for Active, using Check again if confirmation is delayed. Returning from checkout alone is not confirmation that hosting is active. The payer can return through Hosting on the Projects or Account screen and use Manage billing when available.
Connect an address
Once Hosting shows Active, project administrators can choose Website address. A payer without project editing access should ask the project administrator to connect the address. Review the Mallowmint address and use Check connection as needed. If it has not yet been added, enter its name beside the fixed suffix and choose Add. Wait for Connected before treating the address as live. This form chooses an initial address; it does not rename an existing one.
For a domain you own, enter it under Custom domain and choose Add. Copy the requested Type, Name and Value records into your domain's DNS settings. Include both ownership and routing records. Return to Check connection after the changes have had time to take effect. A pending connection is not ready to share; existing records may still be serving another website, so check their purpose before replacing them.
When hosting, the address and publication are ready, open the public website. Check its pages before handing over access.
