Pages and menus

Create and organise pages

  1. Open Pages and choose Add page. Enter Name and URL, then choose Content page, Contact page, Blog page or Blank page under Layout.
  2. Use Page settings to edit the name, address and search information. The home page remains at /.
  3. Organise pages in the page tree. The page tree and the website’s menus are separate choices.

Changing a page address updates recognised internal links. It does not create redirects for old bookmarks or links from other websites.

Blog page creates an article listing and a collection using the Articles preset, named after your page. New article pages include author and date. Reusing an existing Articles collection keeps its current Entry page design; enable Show author and date there if wanted.

Connect the navigation

  1. Open Menus to manage header, footer and other navigation. It opens the homepage header’s menu when available. Sections without a named menu use Main menu.
  2. Add a link, give it a label and choose a page destination. Use Custom link… for an external address, fragment, email or telephone link.
  3. Reorder links or add supported child links. Choose the menu used by the header or footer.
  4. Preview the mobile menu and follow its links. Removing a menu link keeps the page.

Share a header or footer

The inspector says how many pages use a site header or footer. Edit only on this page creates a separate copy; Restore site header or Restore site footer returns it to the site version. Replace site header or Replace site footer makes the selected design the site version. In Page settings, choose Site header, Custom header or No header, with corresponding footer choices.

Every managed website displays Built with mallowmint. In Settings, its Placement can be Separate strip or In footer, with alignment and readable custom colours. If a suitable footer is missing, the credit stays in a separate strip. Hiding a footer does not remove it.
